Zimex Aviation with its Headquarter at Zurich-Airport, Switzerland and operation mainly in North Africa and the Middle East, providing utility aviation services to oil companies, humanitarian agencies and non-governmental organizations for over 30 years, is recruiting Engineers for the present operations in Algeria, Libya, Sudan and Saudi Arabia:
The Zimex fleet currently consists of Viking DHC-6-300, Pilatus PC-6, Beech King Air 200 Beech 1900D and Cessna 208 Caravan aircrafts.
Basic requirements are:
- Fully licensed EASA 66
- DHC-6, Pilatus PC-6, Beech 200, Beech 1900D and Cessna 208 experience
- Minimum of 10 years experience as a licensed engineer gained on above mentioned types
Speciality licenses, such as avionics, sheet metal, and PT6A series hot section inspection are an asset.
We operate within a EASA 145 environment. At almost all of our maintenance bases, a hanger, considerable spares inventory and full set of tools are provided.
In general, our engineers work in small teams of 2 to 4 individuals who maintain a fleet of between 4 and 10 aircraft of varying types. Previous cross cultural experience - ideally gained living or working in a lesser developed country - is a great asset.
Our engineers and pilots are scheduled on a rotational basis, 5 weeks on and 5 weeks off. The company pays all costs for transportation between the worksite and the home airport of the employee, which may be located anywhere in North America, Europe, the middle East, or Africa. All accommodation, food, travel at the worksite, license and training costs are fully paid by the company.
